RUSH SLIDESHOW
SUMMER 2010
A great year has passed and now its time for the fun and games of summer. Many of our brothers have many different plans for the summer whether it is school, work, or just straight up relaxing by the pool for 8 hours a day.
Heres a glimpse of whats some of our brothers are doing:
Porto Gui, a brother from Rio de Janiero is currently visiting Southern California. He is residing at Jesse Campo's house in Newport Beach until July 1st so swing over to say whatsgoooood!
Micah Tarrel, recently graduated (Congratulations Micah!) and is now visiting Rio de Janiero.
Kedar Tilak, another brother who recently graduated, had a surprise graduation party at his parent's mansion in Orange. He also scratched vinyls with world famous DJ Qbert in his backyard. Not to mention there was the taco lady from Hollywood and Highlands serving unlimited tacos there.
Griffin Conway scored a General Manger job at LA boxing. He was overqualified for the position he was applying for and they decided to just give him the Manager position. (Cheers for dental benefits, 401k plans, etc!)
Some brothers are here stuck in Irvine taking summer school classes to get ahead in all their units and others are just simply relaxing by the poolside as if it is their job. Others, like Izhar Fuentes and AJ Nubla are working on their painting business the whole summer. Keep in touch with Izhar Fuentes if you are looking for a summer job. He has MANY job openings.
Other brothers have moved in to Vista del Campo and VDC norte for the summer to keep the commute to school short. Brad Evans, Tyler Garrett, and Kevin Tovar are holding it down in Vista del Campo norte, while Zach Noyer, Shaun Soliman, Jon Shubin, Donald Le, and Gaurav Nihalani are keeping it light in Vista del Campo.
Moving away from the Irvine scene, we have Chris Grimalda moving into Newport Beach for the summer and welcoming the brothers for 4th of July festivities.
Marudeen Aivaz is currently in Washington D.C. for an internship.
The "Australians" have gone back to Australia already except Thomas "Homus" O'Neill, who is currently romping around San Diego, Tijuana, Los Angeles, then back to the OC for one more week
AJ Nubla, Daniel Perez, and Taylor Temple went to Boston for the Sigma Pi Convocation Meeting. A worldwide meeting of every Sigma Pi chapter known to man. They had a blast, stay tuned for stories and pictures.
Our Executive Council along with Chuck Pankenier and our Rush Task Force have all teamed up and have been working diligently for a jam packed schedule for Fall rush. The anticipation will be worth the wait. Stay tuned.
This is just a general idea of what some of our brothers are doing, updates will be provided throughout the week.
Have a safe and fun summer and stay tuned for FALL 2010 RUSH information.
