"Damnit Shereif...why the hell aren't we at Pref Night?!" - Abeer Ali

While the Actives and pledges were celebrating back in the OC , some of the executive members and Chapter Advisor, Taylor Lapsys flew to St. Louis to attend the Sigma Pi Mid-Year conference. Here, all the chapters meet and congregate and to see if their chapter is in good order.

SIGMA PI DEFEATS Sigma Nu!

SIGMA PI won their second game of the season against Sigma Nu. The score was 48 - 38 with a powerhouse starting 5 which included Matt Lee, Kamal Malouf, Pat Slack, "Baby G" Argawal, and Nick Walker. The boys had a strong drive and were hungry for a win to recover from the loss they had with PIKE the night before.

"We were all hungry..." says Matt Lee, "... and practice? We don't need no practice, we streetball." he finishes after he was interviewed after the game and was seen making a clutch 3.

Nick Walker, who scored 12 points,  and "Baby G" Argawal led the team with consecutive points. The boys had strong motivation from from Gaurav Nihalani and also with veteran leadership of Matt Lee and Kamal Malouf.

Other recognized players included Pat Slack who played tenacious defense and powerhouses  David Vo and Aj Nubla, who were also substituted in the game.

MVP is Nick Walker who "led the team with a double double in points and rebounds" says veteran Kamal Malouf.

but we all know who the other most valuable player was,
