2010 Alumni Advisors

Founding Father: Chuck Pankenier

Graduated UC Irvine in 1999 with a degree in social ecology.  Has served in numerous undergraduate and alumni volunteer positions since joining the fraternity as a founding father in the fall of 1994.  Currently participates as the recruitment advisor for Eta-Upsilon and works for the government.

Founding Father: David Feldberg

Graduated UC Irvine in 1999 with a degree in Sociology.  Has served in numerous undergraduate and alumni volunteer positions since joining the fraternity as a founding father in the fall of 1994 including Social Chair and Vice President.  He currently participates as the social advisor for Eta-Upsilon and works in commodities. He owned a mortgage company and at one time employed 15 Sigma Pi's. He currently works in the precious metal industry along with James Ipek.

Alumni Financial Advisor: James Ipek

Graduated UC Irvine in 1998 with a degree in Economics, James was a Founding Father and helped start the fraternity with its founding in 1994.  He has served as Active and Alumni President and is currently an account representative of a precious metal dealer.

Alumni Treasurer Advisor: Ryan Yuhnke

Ryan Yuhnke currently works as a Financial Advisor / Guided Portfolio Manager with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC in Newport Beach.  He assists individuals and organizations in building wealth through customized portfolio construction and management.  He previously worked with Merrill Lynch during and after college.  Ryan graduated from UCI with a degree in economics and served as treasurer and social chairman for Sigma Pi fraternity.  He advises the undergraduates in all financial matters.

Taylor Lapsys: Chapter Director

Originally born and raised in Sacramento, Ca and came to UC Irvine for his undergraduate degree in International Studies. Taylor also serves as the undergraduate Chapter Director and Head of the Alumni Advisory Board. He works in the accounting industry, specifically tax consulting.

Raj Sharma: Undergraduate/Alumni Communications Advisor

A member of the Omicron class, Raj Sharma has been actively involved in Sigma Pi since his initiation. Creating the family "Syndicates," Raj inspired leadership and active participation within his family. Currently, Raj is at Cornell attaining a Master in Health Administration (MBA in Healthcare). Even though he is in school, he still takes an active role in the development in the fraternity as an Alumni Advisor.

Rick Porter: Rush Advisor

Rick graduated in fall 2008 with a double bachelors in Political Science and Cognitive Psychology.  He is currently working on his Masters Degree in Criminal Justice Administration at CSULB.  Rick works with a business development company out of Orange County.  Though busy, he contributes as much and as often as possible through his position as Alumni Vice President and Alumni Rush Advisor.

James Cole: Pledge Advisor

Born and raised in Orange County.   Graduated with a degree in Economics and a minor in Political Science.   As Alumni Pledge Adviser, he will work to maintain the integrity and tradition of the Sigma Pi pledge process.   He is also a staunch Conservative who actively participates in his community.

Alexander Roman Kirillov: Alumni Association President

Born in Tver, Russia or as he likes to call it the homeland, but now currently resides on the Newport Beach peninsula. Graduated from UCI as a International Studies major.  Alex Kirillov still plays a lot of ice hockey and tries to stay in shape. Fraternally, Alex was the 2006 Rush Chair, 2006-2007 1st Councelor, Chapter Sage in 2007, I am currently the President of the Sigma Pi Alumni Association of UCI. Alex is currently a Management Representative at Teco Diagnostics.
